ASSIGNMENT
Assignment was to research, concept, and create three pieces of artwork for a client of our choosing based on an historic artistic style of our choosing.
The “terrible city” references the unfortunate remarks of a reporter during the 2021 Milwaukee Bucks playoff season.
Elements from Loffler’s piece were used to represent the Milwaukee Art Museum’s Bris Soleil, as well as to bring in elements from the People’s Flag of Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Lakefront, and Lake Michigan.
